A jewel-box study in vertical rhythm and emotional intimacy, Whisper Between Us captures the essential power of my early abstract mark-making. The composition features a concentrated sequence of bold, gestural strokes in vibrant blue, yellow, and earth-toned pigments, suggesting a conversation held in the quiet, liminal space between various states of being.

As a psychodynamic inquiry, the work explores communication—how much meaning can be held within a singular, deliberate gesture.

What, as I try to ask the viewer to imagine, if each vertical color represents a person; red, blue, yellow and yellow-orange-green. The raw, textured application of paint honors them as people, as if they are talking to each other. The space between them becomes quiet things, like whispers.
